Although I can understand that some women enjoy being in the industry and like the money they make. I feel this is at the expense of a lot of people being exploited. This exploitation could either just be economic (they need the money so sell their bodies) or can be physical (forced).

I know I'm a dreamer, but I would prefer to be in a society where this exploitation didn't exist. I also think this exploitation wouldn't happen if there wasn't a mass market for pornography. But I know it is almost impossible to stop the demand. It is a sad issue.

While I'm sure the stereotypes of porn stars aren't entirely wrong, I also think that whatever the truth is most people's preconceived notions of them as being just sluts who were molested by their dads and that they're being exploited and that they hate themselves are really just prejudices that are based more in outdated Christian morality and misogyny than actual fact.

no but seriously its like non sex workers don't understand that we actually are in control of the situation and we have to be, because they will scam us or push our boundaries REALLLL quick. It's more that we sell personas that are crafted to profit. This is my image created by me within my comfort and abliities. I am good at my job and the work is actually very important as a service. I wonder just what some people think is so much less dehumanizing about working dead end jobs and working for bosses who treat them like slaves and numbers on a chart? I know it sucks my soul. If I thought I could make lots of money taking it up the pooter then I'd do it in an instant.

That's why I said a lot of people like doing it and like the money. I am not disputing that fact. IF there is a link between an increase in demand for instant pornography and human trafficking, do you think something should be done?
