Nope, I'm saying the scripture is what people refer to. I don't know, you tell me? I'm pretty sure however that getting drunk every now in then doesn't prevent you from access to heaven. It seems illogical to me. Seek4 seems to understand it a lot more than I do. I think people constantly debate how one gets into heaven because there are so many different sources with conflicting ideas.

Yeah, I've never understood the whole "died on the cross for our sins" thing. How does dying on a cross have any bearing on anyone but the person dying on the cross. Not to mention that the concept itself just doesn't make sense. Why does god need his son to die to forgive us our sins? Why does he demand sacrifice like some pagan god? I always figured that this was just one of those things, like turning Saturnalia into Christmas, that was used to get pagans, who I guess were all about making sacrifices for this or that, to buy into the whole notion of Christianity. I know that the Jews used to make sacrifices, but Christianity was supposed to not do that.

The churches are what made up the whole heaven and hell thing after you die. Nowhere in scripture does it say that, it is a big misinterpretation. Look around this planet they are both right here, but they are also a state of being. This life can be our heaven or hell we get to choose. Jesus lived and died to show people the nature of the creator of this universe, a non judgemental, non condemning, representation of unconditional love and to show the path to tapping into the power that we each have thru our belief. When he was on the cross he didn't even condemn the men who tortured and killed him and asked God toforgive them. Just think about that for a second, just imagine the rage you would feel if someone just slapped you in the face. Jesus was showing us that no matter what we have done God doesn't condemn us. But he was saying that Gods spirit was inside all of us, imagine how you would feel inside if you didn't judge anyone and saw just the good in everyone, we all were like that when we were kids and then our well meaning parent taught us what they believed was right and wrong and then judgement came in and so did anger. When we were little people were just people, we didn't label anyone. And Jesus said if you want to see the kingdom of heaven you must become like a little child, and that is what he meant by it. And he said the kingdom of heaven is inside you and all around you, not after you die. And Charlie sheen is in heaven, he has what we all want and what God promised to those that walk in his ways. If you ever heard an interview with him, he doesn't judge people. You get back from this universe the emotions you put out, if you judge others this universe will judge you. Its all about forgiveness, God is love.
Study people that are living their dreams they figured it out. Love thy neighbor as yourself, if you do that you can pretty much do whatever you want as long as you aren't hurting anyone.......the truth will set you free...free of guilt, shame, carefullness, stress, and make you a free spirit.
God created both good and evil and that is what makes this world perfect, otherwise there could be no choice, no free will. Evil isn't something in the world we have to fight its a feeling inside we have to make right.
How do you get to heaven you ask?... You get rid of judgement and choose to love everything and find your passion believe in yourself and chase your wildest dreams with an unwavering faith.
To get a better concept of what the scriptures are saying take a listen to some spiritual teachers, like Abraham hicks, Gregg braden, Louise hay, Wayne dyer, ect. When it makes sense to you, you know you are on the right path.
Go on you tube they all have countless videos, one I highly recommend is "down the rabbit hole/what the bleep do we know" it even has science in there for you of the science religion. And "gregg braden The language of the divine matrix" if you watch these videos you will have a better understanding of God and this universe.
Churches preach a God of wrath that condemns you even when you aren't hurting anyone by breaking some stupid rule, or supposed law, Jesus preached a God of unconditional love. The scripture even said that the law wasn't made for the rightous man. And a rightous man is just a person who doesn't judge anyone else, cause he know he isn't perfect either......he who hasn't sinned may cast the first stone. It is all about inner peace, as far as religions go Buddhist are more Christian than most Christians.
Seems like too many people spend their life worrying about how to get to heaven when if they would just look around they might find they are already there. We are in paradise this place is awesome, all you got to do is look for it, and you will find it.
Enough of this rant, peace and love to all you who read this!

You have the most interesting twist on christianity I have ever heard. While I do agree with some of what you say I just dont think that all of your ideas are how it actually works. Again I dont believe in god so it really doesn't matter but I think if I was to believe, the heaven and hell thing would be part of it. I get what your saying about heaven and hell being a state of mind. You get out of life what you put in and however you see things and treat people is what is given to you in return. But why would the promise of eternal life be mentioned and tribulations and the second coming of christ? Whats all that about if there is no heaven and hell? Its in the bible just read through revelations. Also you mentioned the thief that died next to Jesus on the cross that Jesus forgave. Well he also told him in Luke Chapter 23 verses 42&43 "Jesus remember me when you come into your Kingdom" and Jesus replies "Truly I say to you, Today you shall be with me in paradise" I'm sorry but I cant see any other meaning behind that than heaven. I think the bible blatently mentions heaven and hell several times throughout the book as an actual place not of this earth and I'll actually take the time to look it up now if you want me to. At the end of the day the aforementioned set of standards you stated to live by are the way all of us should try to live by. I think if thats what you try to model yourself by then your a step ahead of a lot of folks. As corny as it sounds peace, forgiveness, and love are very good qualities to have and remaining as non judgmental as possible is a respectable trait. I just think that christianitys just a lil more complex than that and a lil more is expected.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that there isn't life after death, what Jesus was trying to get across is everyone goes to "paradise" after you die, we are made up of energy, and energy never dies, you can't destroy it, it just changes forms. When Jesus was asked about the kingdom of heaven he said it was inside of you and all around you, in genesis it defines heaven as everything from the ground up. Obviously Jesus didn't want people focusing in what happens after you die, and Jesus didn't call it death either he called it sleeping. When I started seeking to know if there is a God I took a very logical approach to it, my attitude was if there is a god then if there was a book bearing gods name than everything we need to know would be in there. And if god had a purpose for everything and does nothing in vain then the book of revelations needs to apply to everyone since it was written, don't you think? And if "the end of the world" actually meant the physical end of the world it would only apply to the people alive then and would be of no use to aanyone who lived before. So I knew there had to be a meaning that applys to everyone. When I realized that I started to see it thru a whole new set of eyes. Revalations is a description of what goes on in your mind if you commit to ridding youself of negative emotions (evil). Jesus said come out of the world(worldly thinking, common consensus) and in the book of revalations it talks about the end of the world, and I didn't understand what that truely meant until it happened to me, I used get my mind twisted up in what was going on in the world (politics and such) and I realized that I used to be a lot happier before I ever got involved. The end of the world is when worldly affairs don't concern you any more, cause all they do is keep your mind focused on things other than your true desires. Revalations also talks about the battle of Armageddon, the worldly perception is a great battle on this earth at the "end times" if that was a literal battle that would mean that revelations doesn't apply to anyone before that time and that didn't make sense to me if God indeed had a purpose for everything and that book applied to everyone, then It was revealed to me what it meant... The battle of Armageddon goes on inside anyone who tryes to get back to seeing a perfect world again, it is when you realize that you have all kinds of negative emotions caused from judgements. And when you make a decision to see this world in a different way it is a Fuc#in battle to move all of those negative emotions back to love, cause our egos will try to argue in your mind to justify why you have a right to be angry and why "they" are wrong. Buddhist will go into isolation for 3yrs 3months and 3days to fight off their negative emotions and it does take that long if that is your only focus and intention.
To answer your question about it being complicated....The apostle Paul said "the antichrist will deny the simplisity that is in Christ". Man or our egos tries to complicate this life that should be simple.
Do you feel love on a subject or don't you, you just have to take every subject that plagues your mind and logically work it around in your mind until you are at peace with it, that is what forgiveness is.
Find what you love to do and do it. When your mind is actually pointed in the direction of your true desiresyou will KNOW it cause you will feel it you will get a fuc# yea feeling and from then on you just have to believe in yourself.
There is far too much information in my brain on this subject to type it all here. I am writing a series of books about this and I will send you all copies when I am finished if you wish.
When you truely understand the real God and how this universe works you will belive in our creator. God is the source within you, which is love, unconditional love and we tend to want to attach conditions to it.
If there is questions on anyone's mind please ask and I will do my best to answer them, I dedicated my life to figuring this stuff out and getting answers to life's questions.
When the answer is the right one It brings peace to your soul, and makes sense
Touching on the tribulation period... I didn't know what that meant until I lived it, the tribulation period comes when you realize that you are not living the life you truely want and deciding to start all over from scratch. I was a carpenter and owned a construction company and I realized one day that I wasn't happy and that wasn't the life I truely wanted so I did what Jesus said to do and sold all of my tools and possessions gave the money to the poor and started over, I realized that I wanted to be a songwriter and always have, I absolutly love music, and I had never written a song before and it was terrifying to start the persuit, but I heard a voice in my head that said "i will give you the songs when the time comes" and I choose to trust in that voice and believed in it and to make a long story short I am in and out of the studio recording my first album and the words just keep coming I can actually see my dreams finally coming true, and have never been happier.
First you have to find your true desires and be willing to loose everything to get them. There were times when I didn't know how I was going to pay the bills and like magic things happened in PERFECT timing and I seem to always have what I need and now I live without
fear, and now I know what the tribulation period means. I have learned that words don't teach, only life experience teaches.
As far as the second comming of Christ....this is how I see it, this is when Jesus rids the world of evil, right. This means when you live by Jesus's words he will rid your mind and psyche of evil in the world cause you no longer judge. You know when it says in revelation the lion will lay with the lamb, what this is saying is the 2 who were natural enemies will be at peace, the message is so so simple forgiveness, and love. We were designed to love and our body chemistry proves it, like I have said before when we are feeling positive emotions our body's produce all of the chemicals necessary for immunity. If you study kinesiology when we are feeling positive emotions our muscles are up to 30% stronger than when feeling negative emotions, doesn't that tell us that we were created to love, and like it says in the bible GOD IS LOVE. Kind of makes you think doesn't it?
The scriptures are describing what is going on inside of your mind, but it is something you just can't fully understand until you live by them. You just have to persue that knowlege and when it all makes sense you will KNOW it cause you won't feel the need to search anymore, you will be at peace.
