There are many instances of this, and since I'm pressed for time I'll restrict myself to one example: homo habilis - basic information about which can be found here. The short story here is that they have different cranium structure to homo erectus, notably having a skull significantly larger than Australopithecus, but significantly smaller and more rounded than ours. In evolutionary terms, it makes sense that these are examples of a transitionary species between Australopithecus and homo erectus, because it has examples of less developed features found in humans today, but more advanced than earlier specimens. Hence, I present you with an example of a transitional for of human. Now, I'll sod off now because this thread is the property of tore and RVCA, and I just want to contribute this example to help illustrate the point tore is making. @Janszoon, why haven't you ascended into heaven yet? |

If I'm being perfectly honest here, I think that this debate is taking place with a troll. What I'd really like to know is what brought Seek to Music Banter, whether or not he even enjoys music, and why this is the only thread he's posted in.

I don't mind having a debate about evolution, in fact I'd love it, but the current one is very perplexing. |

I know it's fun to prod a troll in the ribs to generate maximum amusement out of their initial existence, but when it reaches a point where people are visibly growing irritated by the discussion, it's time to take a step back, because that's what they've been working towards. The reality is that these kinds of posters will either get bored (and leave) or desperate, (and banned) if we stop responding to their comments.
Another thing I would like to ask anybody who has trolled before, is whether or not you realize that your presence in a discussion makes you out as a laughing stock, and heightens the superiority complex of the opposition? Somehow, while this is meant to be fun for the troll, it's a bit like kicking yourself in the nards and laughing. |

What annoys me about trolls is that I can spend quite a lot of time researching and ordering my thoughts and posting something like this:
http://www.musicbanter.com/current-e...ml#post1162048 ...for it to have no effect whatsoever and end up ignored. I've got a busy life, A levels to revise for in two months, various coursework assignments to do and to top it off it's a great day outside and I want to play some badminton with my friends, and I end up wasting time on nothing. |

That's true.... I'm a bit sad because I really love this issue, but clearly we're arguing with the wrong person. It's a forum where all kinds of people end up, and I suppose a lot of effort can be wasted or just cause amusement.
