Everyone is worshipping the same god whether they know it or not, just called by different name, is someone who speaks English going to call god the same name as someone who speaks Japanese. FYI new science is just know catching up with past knowledge. The ancients know the planets revolved around the sun and know how many there were, science just discovered that in the last few hundred years, so yea I put more stock in the ancient wisdom than modern pseudo-knowledge any day. Most new discoveries today are already written in texts that r thousands of years old, they knew about DNA in ancient sumeria, and even knew what it looked like, so u might want to check yourself before u wreck yourself, you might want to humble yourself and realizethat u don't know as much as u think u know. U have to see all sides and see for yourself if u want to know anything and not sound like a mainstream drone, that only know what you've been told

I don't think I'll ever get tired of finding relevant places to post this image.

Smashing argument. Use it very often, do you?

They knew about planets, now we know more about planets. Is that "just catching up"? Sounds to me like we know more today, not less.

Anyways, how about instead of telling me how "mainstream" I am in my thinking you embellish your arguments a bit. I am prepared to treat them seriously. F.ex you say ancient sumerians knew about DNA. How do you know? Got a source to back your statement?

If you want people to take your claims seriously, then you have to provide some proper arguments. You write that the sumerians knew about DNA. Why do you write that? You just say they do, yet provide no rational explanation to back the claim. And then you expect me to spend time and energy researching that claim on my own?

If you're not willing to provide proper arguments, then yeah - you should get out of the discussion thread.

Don't underestimate the power of the mind, especially one that is very trained, such as a devout Buddhist.

There is no god unless it is proved otherwise. Can I ask 'god' why I am widowed and my children have no mother? He won't answer unless I want him too within my own parameters set by myself and no one else.

Have faith by all means and I respect that but if other people don't then that surely is god's will too? Free will and all that.
