It should be an individuals choice, and not just done to them when they are babies and have no knowledge or say in it.

On the outside, yes. But, when you spread the labia, it just kinda looks like an open wound. I'll never understand porn's obsession with getting a deep shot of the inside of some chick's snatch.

This poll makes me laugh. "Thom Yorke is for circumcision."

I don't think it is a big issue. For many reasons, some perceived like health and others personal like cosmetic value I think it should just be left up to the individual which lets be honest at birth means a parents choice.

I know some of the religious insitutions like to insist all members get it done, but religion as always is just being bonkers and impinging on peoples freedoms I mean what other club or association demands you cut the tip of your penis off?

This seems like a contradiction to me. It should be left up to the individual which means it's a parents choice? I don't agree, the parents can't always fully represent the interests of the child. What if he regrets having the procedure done later in his adult life?

Based on your opinion, that it should be left up to the individual, it seems it should make more sense to abolish circumcision for young and let them wait until they become adults and can choose for themselves.

The law states that parents represent the interests of their child until they are 18 so it makes perfect sense.

You do understand that's not an absolute rule though, right? Parents can't just do whatever the hell they want to kids.

They can actually if it's something regarding this where they feel it's in the best interest of their child.

I know they can't abuse their child if they think it's in the best interest of them but circumcision is nowhere near abuse regardless of how harmful or mutilating you think it is.

Again, this is not an absolute rule, as you yourself acknowledge at the beginning of your second sentence. If it were as clear cut as you're trying to make it out to be there wouldn't be so many court cases about whether or not parents have the right to refuse medical treatment for their children.
