I think it's a guy thing. A married couple I'm friends with went up to Manitoba last month to visit the in-laws and the husband got hooked on ketchup flavoured chips, but his wife couldn't stand them. I was pretty ecstatic when he brought a bag back, we polished off that motherfucker in no time at all. Of course that's a pretty big generalization, but in my experience only guys will eat the ketchup chips, unless pot is involved.
Oh yeah that's another good thing about Canada, good pot. |

I've seen a lot of news about the US Goverment being bankrupt. As the US is the largest economy, that will affect the whole world and if nations can't get their loans back, that would mean the US and their wars have been financed by other nations. I hope people will take a moment to reflect on why this has happened. Clearly, the US has not been run in a way which is economically sustainable and hopefully, the american people use their votes to change the situation.

^ The problem is, neither party got the balls to raise the taxes, and that is the only thing that can save them. So yeah, we're pretty ****ed.

Apple doesn't have nuclear warheads, so if it went in debt, it'd actually have to pay it back. Theoretically, the government can spend as much as it wants without going out of business, making it the wealthiest organization in the world.
Politicians can just say 'sorry everyone is starving, we'll try next time... Well, works done, I'm going to drive back to my three story home to get a blowjob from a $500 hooker." |

One thing that's interesting about the US debt, as bad as it is, it that proportionately, as a percentage of the national GDP, it's quite a bit lower than the debt of a sizable number of powerful European nations.
