I think social networking is good for reconnecting old friends/family members. On the other hand, I see the weakening of the meaning of friendship. I see way too many of my friends on Facebook that have over 500+ friends. There is no way you have/or can have a personal relationship with that many people. Personally I have roughly have 180 friends on Facebook. 1/3 are currenty/past co workers, another 1/3 are family members and the last 1/3 are people from high school or are friends I have from other ventures. Below is a post a friend from high school posted last week and is a prime example of what's wrong with social networking.
