Eugh, like I need to link social networking with my google searches, my friends do not need to see what depravity I look up on the internet (for research of course....)
It doesnt have a character limit, so once alot of people are on it the people who typeeee like thissss will do it again, and it will still annoy me. I might just make twitter my main thing, 140 characters, if you cant say it in that or less it isnt worth my time reading. And yes, I see the irony in such a long post to say I hate long posts, but this is different. Anyway, TWITTER, who's with me?

Personally I think Facebook is pretty much perfect. It's honestly not that difficult just to hide annoying people. |

I like Facebook to stay connected with friends and family whom I rarely see or who live far away. I started a Twitter to follow my some of my favorite artists, but have never tweeted. My head is far enough from my ass to know that no one gives a sh*t if I'm eating a cheeseburger or cutting my finger nails at 3:00 am.

I had a facebook account when I was at university, so about 2004. I closed it fairly soon afterwards as 1) I could just text or call people, or simply walk across the hall to make plans with them. 2) The status updates began to fantastically annoy me. 3) The Facebook language made me want to hurt people... 'inbox me' - what the hell.
Now, I might activate it every now and again just to get someones number I might have lost or something, but have no info or pictures on there. I preferred Myspace in the early 2000s, as it was different and fun at the time. Now it's also pretty bad in my opinion, but I would prefer it to Facebook. |

I don't think Mark will let it just flop like that.

I don't see facebook ever dying out any time soon, even with things like Google +. I really don't see Google + being a huge hit or removing facebook from their throne. I like social netowrking. We can see what our favorite athletes and celebrities are thinking, and even most businesses have accounts where you can see their specials or hours. People forget anything can be made public, so it's their own fault if they post embarrassing stuff on facebook. I think social networking is a cool and positive thing, and I don't get annoyed much on FB. You cna hide or delete people that annoy you.

That article for google+ that Vanilla posted is all sorts of wrong. You don't know facebook too well if you don't think that those things can be done on it. The only real benefit I see to having google+ atm is that they don't have apps. I should look for the setting to block all app invites. So annoying those little buggers.
