Currently among many countries there is a wage gap between women and men. Should this gap be filled? Does a monthly "sickness" or heavy menstruation cause reduced productivity by women taking days off, including for pregnancy and looking after sick children. This topic that comes from this scandal in New Zealand where CEO Alasdair Thompson stated that women take more days off then men for the reasons above, which is bad for productivity which is why they are paid less.
Video Oh and enjoy the way he treats the female reporter in the last 4-5 minutes if you want a laugh. But it is a serious question, particular for men, do you agree with this? Or do you support equal work = equal pay.

Ok well i'll spice things up a little bit and say that women ABSOLOUTLEY DO...................deserve equal pay for equal work. Heh even the biggest of dickheads in the world should still be fair. Their hourly rate or yearly salary has nothing to do with the amount of days they miss for personal reasons. If they are qualified to perform and meet the criteria for the job they were hired for, then they deserve the pay anyone else would receive.

Equal work - equal pay, and everyone gets x amount of sick days per year. If anyone goes over that amoount, they won't get paid. Its pretty much the same as the other thread you started, if certain peoople get different benefits with their job, then I'd expect the pay scales to be different to make up for that difference

In entertainment things are different, it should be on the basis of how much of an audience someone draws. Female tennis players managed to get away with being paid the same as men even though fewer people are actually interested in them. They managed to do this by being on the same tour as the men and insisting that they have to get the same prize money from whoever sponsors the event. If they were on a separate tour though they would have to fund the prize money purely on their own game and would get less for sure.
