I just watched a documentary on a inmate who smuggled a camera into his cell and was able to record some lengthy footage of various cases of abuse. The intent was to reveal to the world the abuse these inmates take from the guards on a daily basis. If your immune or ignorant to what really goes on in prison or jail and have never been exposed or endured any of these types of acts or circumstances (like maybe visiting jail or prison) you may very well be shocked. Its not the safe haven of your home where you can talk tough on your computer from the safe confines of your home, while mommy and daddy furnish your supply of cheetos and Ps3 games. If you've ever done any kind of time you know the rules of the world and civilazation dont apply on the inside.
Its not your average lockup show where the guards and inmates know that they are being recorded. So its not a fabricated run of the mill goin through the motions of following procedure type show. Guys are severley beaten and dragged down stairs among many other acts of violence. Of course you have to remember these guys broke the law to get sent to prison but does that automatically mean that they should be abused? Some even beaten so badly that as a result it causes death?? I was just curious as to what others thought on this topic............. |
