Well, first they have to know where and when the crime is being commited. And if they are there, they have to know it's being commited. So... yeah. You can't prevent something after its happened.

I'm talking about after the fact not like they are trying to predict when it's going to happen. When they find out about it, they just hide in their little turtle shells. They don't speak out against them.

I actually would. Plus that is a horrible comparison because it isn't my job to serve and protect the community. Then do shady **** and turn around and protect corrupt cops.

I had to change so little to make your argument racist. I'm a bit dumbfounded that you think this is ok.

be dumbfounded all you want. In the heat of the moment right now, I really don't like cops except for IA. I'm not even going to separate it between the poorly trained and the racist cops. I don't like them overall and how they are operating themselves. They are basically a gang.

No, more stringent gun laws ends up just taking guns away from law-abiding citizens while crime rates go up.

Thanks for parroting one of the NRA's talking points. The stricter gun laws aren't even that bad. People will still be able to hunt and what not. It would be nice to be able to have it harder for people to just pick up guns willy nilly with no backgrounds checks from gun shows for instance. Nobody is taking any guns away from law abiding citizens. It would be nice to make it slightly harder to get a gun though.

Of course hunters would be able to hunt. There are many people that hunt in my country. We just don't give out gun licenses like candy. By making your laws stricter, you make it more of a privilege to own a gun rather than allowing every idiot to get a gun in record time with minor backround checks and no way of knowing if they know how to handle a gun. It's the idiots you are giving guns to, not the guns that are your problem.

I think you are wasting your time. Any time someone brings up stricter gun laws. All the right wing supporters hear is don't take my guns away from me. Don't make it harder for me to get guns. There needs to be more good guys with guns to stop the bad guys with guns. blah blah blah :bonkhead:

Do not blame the second amendment^. Criminals and wrong doers will still go and get what they need when they want it. Do not impede on the right of the people to arm themselves because the criminals will have them. And right now the only criminals are the ones taking them from registered citizens.

Just because criminals and wrong doers will still go get when they need when they want it. Doesn't mean that it can't be stricter for the in between people. No one is saying that they are impeding on your right to arm yourself. No one is talking about taking your guns away from you except me. I'm knocking on your door and we are having a shoot out til I take your guns away from you. Try me Roxo. Criminals are not just taking them from registered citizens. They are easily walking up to gun shows and just buying them out right. Gun shows even sell guns to kids without checking IDs.
Once again for all the dense people, stricter gun laws =/= ban guns.
