It's wal-mart they sell just about everything except a Ouija board.

I am dead ass serious. Sam Walton had a thing against those or something.

This article deals with the subject at hand here.

I will note that the article is NOT describing an isolated incident throughout. It actually highlights significant abuses of a police paperwork system and notes that there were no reliable ways to track down any officer for any reason suspected of excessive use of force, until the administration was changed.

honestly i was in there the other day and i was surprised to see a 1000 dollar semi auto assault rifle in the glass case. i live in a small town in the north carolina now so i guess its not a big deal here. when i worked at walmart it was in south florida and i don't think they would have gotten along very well with that sort of thing in the store. i remember one time people busted the ipod glass case and ran out with a bunch... can't imagine that there wouldn't be someone willing to shatter some glass for a 1000 dollar rifle.

i wish i was. i mean i'm not a gun person so i suppose maybe it wasn't an assault rifle. but it had a clip and all that good stuff... certainly didn't look like your grandpa's hunting rifle. looked like a military weapon for urban warfare.

edit - and of course they also sell the bullets right there. those aren't even locked up, they're just behind the counter. so i guess if anyone wants to do a mass shooting but doesn't have money to invest in weapons then walmart is the place for you.

This was really great, thanks for sharing. Definitely increased my understanding and changed my perspective on the topic.

Also, apparently Mike Brown apparently robbed a convenience store just before being shot. The officer who killed him didn't know he was a suspect.

So that basically means he had a criminal record at the time he was shot. Well **** the **** about him being a good little boy then.

So as far I'm concerned, this is case closed. It's a cop's story against a kid that just robbed a store. Guess which one I'm going to believe more?

That's the point of them releasing that tape to assassinate his character. Regardless of what he did, he didn't deserve to be shot unarmed.

Also I still don't believe that Walmart shooting was a clean shooting, if it was they wouldn't be so shady about releasing the tape. They would have nothing to hide/investigate much and would have released it to the family already. I call BS on that case.

The robbery took place on a separate day. The cop who actually shot Brown wasn't there in response to a robbery call, that was something the police initially fabricated. The cop was confronting Micheal Brown for jaywalking in the street very close to his grandmothers house. Jaywalking isn't punishable by death.

Like DJ said, the tape was released to misconstrue the situation.
