Tasers are of course a crucial topic of mine. My bestie was killed with a taser. They have a place, they are meant to be a final resort before use of firearms. This was clearly not the case with Dougie and clearly not the case here. Too many times they are used as punishment and/or torture by individual sadistic police. There needs to be MUCH more accountability with these weapons.

They get off too easily.

Beat the snot out of some 'suspicious' looking person minding their business? 2 weeks paid suspension! They get a vacation for ****ing up at work. Anywhere else they'd get fired.

LOL: "They didn't know how the tasers worked", ok so of course my first instinct as a cop would be let me use this high-powered and dangerous weapon I was literally just given against an impaired female while her back is to me. Of course I was justified because despite the 100's of other protocols cops are trained in, my brain immediately went to this and I can't control myself. It's also hilarious to see the defense say juries never convict cops, which has no basis in reality whatsoever.
