When did I ever say anything as dramatic as that? So far I said that it was "sad" because of what I just said in my previous post and the experience I'd heard from a band teacher, how messed up the videos are the YNC, and that I don't get why people text and constantly check their phones when they're with friends. I surely don't think the world is going to hell in a handbasket. That's not even close to what I think. I just wish people would cut it back more. Go outside! Go on a picnic! I know when I'm on my family reunion, my phone is staying at the hotel. My friends can wait.

And alright, you make a good point here, but the reason I'm saying "get me the figures" is because you're speaking as if its certain. You've started the discussion based on assumptions. Thats never a good thing. I happen to work in a school, and I know they aren't allow to have phones in class. So at some point they're socializing.

Not assumptions, experiences. I never assumed anything. Right up there I just summed up everything I said so far. I do think it's sad, the YNC does have some horrible videos that I'd never like to see again, and I am annoyed by the people who text and check their phones constantly. I'm also bothered by texting while driving. Is it REALLY that goddamn urgent?! Put it down.
I think you're trying to make everything I say into an argument. I have no intentions on debating. Debating is for people who like to argue and who have an affinity for facts and figures and logic. I'm much more of a thinking/feeling person, which is probably why everything I've said thus far is based around experience.
