My own wedding was a bit more over-the-top than I would have preferred but we certainly didn't have WWII era planes swooping overhead as we kissed on the balcony of a palace in front of millions of people.

But then you're not the future King of England.

I dont know what people expected really, I've watched the highlights show that was on this evening about the wedding and I thought it was all very tasteful in fairness. The entire thing seemed more about the bride than the fact that it was a Royal wedding, which it should be and is probably what people refer to by a low key affair. I still expect alot of lavishness though, and a nod to the proud heritage of this country, and the elegant stagecoaches and flyovers respectively achieved both of these things.

As for the couple themselves, I wish them all the best. William and Harry both seem like genuinely nice people, very down to earth (as down to earth as you can be given their lives) and are easily the most relatable members of the Royal family.

That's what you think.

But seriously, it doesn't matter who you are, the scenario I described in my previous post is simply not "low key".

By the way, did anyone else see the hat Meredith Vieira wore during the wedding coverage? At least I think it was hat, it could've been a hedgehog clinging to the side of her head.

Yeah usually with these things Sky News will be covering it for the next week or two, completely milking it.

This girl?

Is it because of her eyes? I had the same condition until I had it fixed with surgery. If she doesn't get her eyes fixed soon she will eventually go blind in whatever eye turns in the most. Or both eyes.

And am I the only one who thinks that Princess Beatrice's hat is extremely ugly?

At least it takes attention away from the disaster that is her face.
