Wayfarer lets not foget the ones who are saying such idiotic things are the ones who were rasied from day one to believe the US does no wrong.

some of the China Chinese are calling it a "divine retribution" for the atrocities the Japanese committed on the Chinese during WW2, e.g. the Rape of Nanking and Camp 731

I don't believe that, how would they get all those post probably from people they don't know and aren't friends with and wouldn't be able to see their posts, then somehow find all the worst comments on facebook and combine them onto one jpg? It must be some prank from some computer geek with too much time on their hands and a poor sense of humor. I think generally speaking Americans are concern about Japan. And I wouldn't judge Americans based on that jpg. I can only speak for myself but I am real concern for those people who are victims of a double catastrophe Earthquake/Tsunami, plus not to mention the 2 Nuclear Power crisis. I can't imagine what the victims are going through with losing family members and the suffering losing everything and all the other problems. |
I think it's pretty clear those are posts are copied from all over facebook, but it doesn't change the fact that there are complete idiots out there comparing what happened in Japan to what happened at Pearl Harbor with a complete lack of empathy for those affected by the earthquake. They are scum in my book.

Obviously a terrible tragedy. Makes me wonder what shape the world would be in if like something happened and several huge earthquakes and tsunamis and stuff happened all throughout the world and everything got fucked up.
As for idiots posting stuff about how great this disaster is, I've never got real upset by them. It's less than 1% of people and they are morons. Morons will always exist, I don't let them bother me much. |

I agree that they're morons though. My hope is that it's just the fact that they're probably mostly kids who haven't yet learned the concept of rational thinking, but then again... maybe they won't. Maybe these are tomorrow's leaders. If so, I think the movie "Idiocracy" will have become a historical document some time in the future. |
