Surrogacy

What do you guys think about strangers getting pregnant to provide a child to a couple? Particularly if they're being paid to do it?

I was thinking about it today and would definitely consider being a surrogate mother if it meant providing incredible joy to another person(s) life who might not be able to get pregnant themselves.

I'm not sure if this is going to work out when the mom is a stranger.
Seems like a good idea to 'use' someone of whom you know the characteristics.

huh? it always works out with strangers.

well i won't say always since that's an absolute type statement but that's normally how it works with a stranger.

the only risk that is being taken is that the surrogate doesn't want to give up the baby at the end of the whole thing. I think some surrogates are obligated to give it up and have to sign a contract saying so before hand.

I say: More power to them.
They can have someone else's baby all they want if it makes them feel good about themselves.

If I were a lady, I wouldn't do it, but I can see how it would appeal to them if they want to be a baby factory. Maybe they really love the pleasant and sublime joys of pregnancy for someone else's sake. Or maybe it pays a whole bunch of money... Who knows. I'm probably more selfish than most.

This isn't related to to Surrogacy but w/e. I wish I could sell my sperm for as much as women get for eggs.

You can, but it depends on how much you're willing to spend on your date.
