People can go on about 'oh you can set privacy settings' but it's easy to circumnavigate them either deliberately or by accident and I don't really want any of my personal life that easily accessible online.

I know not everyone that doesn't have an account is trying to make a statement. I just hate that there are people who come off like that and then make me feel like I just drank the kool aid for joining. You like it or you don't...it shouldn't really be more complicated.
