Facebook, for the most part, blows. But that's just my opinion.
But it's all in how you use it. If you're using it to keep in touch with the people you care about who live 1,000+ miles away, or to organize events, fine. It's when people begin to live vicariously through it that becomes a digital lobotomy, so to speak. Unfortunately for me, it's my main mode of communication with my family and friends all over the country and the world because I don't have a phone.

Oh come off it everyone, let's jump off the Facebook hating bandwagon and get back to reality. It's the people that make Facebook/all social networking sites irritating, not the website itself. Bebo was no better.
