No, I already use drugs now and again which are illegal, so the legal status of them wouldn't change my use tbh.

I've never tried it but it's supposed to be pretty safe if you don't do anything stupid like drive.

I drove once stoned. DO NOT RECOMMEND. It wasn't through choice, but still shouldn't have done it tbh. It wasn't a normal high, it was wayyy more intense after you eat a ****load of grass. Thought I was Colin McRae, 'til I looked at the speedometer and was doing 25mph .

There are some precautions you should take to avoid a bad trip, but other than that it's a pretty safe drug, or at least safer than people make it out to be. I have friends who have had bad trips though and are still experiencing negative side effects, so it's definitely not a drug to be taken lightly.

For instance, I definitely don't plan on dropping any acid until after I get out of my depression, that is if I do drop acid again in the first place.

It depends entirely on the person. There was a massacre in my town in the 70s when somebody slipped it into a man's drink at the pub. He said he was going hunting, then went out and murdered seven people with a shotgun. It sounds like an urban legend, but it's well documented in the town's history, and I even know some of the family members of the man who did it.

The original question was "Would you be tempted to try drugs if they were legalized?" By saying "too late...", you're saying you've already tried certain drugs and as a result can apply your experiences with these drugs to other drugs. However, different drugs carry different sentences, different punishments, and most importantly different social stigmas, not to mention the fact that some are even legal. So with that being said, I don't understand how the "too late..." option would be relevant unless you've tried every drug and are familiar with these different characteristics in a manner that would fall under the category of "too late..." (meaning you've tried them).

I think this is just an issue of semantics though and a pretty pointless discussion.
Yea, I think you're mistaking the original question. The question is talking about drugs in a general sense. It is not asking whether you'd try particular drugs that you haven't tried, if they became legal. I don't think there are enough people out there [refraining from using certain drugs strictly because the legal penalties are higher than that of the drugs they do use] to make your concept of the intent behind the original question relevant in any way.

Answering "too late" to the original question while not having done every drug in existence is completely valid here. If you'd like to ask your own more specific question regarding this, please feel free to do so. I promise you no one will be able to honestly vote in your "too late" section.

Not tempted at all.

I would definately try them if they were absolutely harm- and danger free.
Well there are a lot of drugs that are practically harm free. Maybe not absolutely 100%, but so ridiculously small that it's not gonna hurt you at all. No one has ever overdosed from weed, and it's not gonna take any time away from your life. The only risk it poses is from smoking it, if you eat it it's basically harm free.

Does the loss of short term memory persist if digested rather than inhaled?

You need to smoke/eat less if your short term memory is being affected.
