For some reason I'd probably give some of the hard drugs a try...including heroin.
actually that'd be a bad idea. Codeine makes me act all weird and that's only a MILD opiate (basically, VERY weak heroin). |

I've hung out with a bunch of people these last few months who have done LSD, and it really got me interested in doing it. I did shrooms in Australia three years ago, but it was a really weak dose, and doesn't really compare. Anyone got any tips on how to have the best trip on LSD, for a first-timer?

I really want to try LSD, but I heard it's a big risk in getting it from someone that may be hard to trust, someone told be that there is such thing as bad acid. But yeah, if it was legalized and you could get it at a store or something, I would do it in a heartbeat.
@ The Monkey Everyone who I've talked to that has taken it has told me that you need to take it in a "comfortable" place, and around people you are also comfortable with. |

i dont know if this has been discussed but has anyone brought up portugal?
portugal legalized in 2001 all drugs, and statistics show that the drug use has plummeted in ten years. i always said that would happen. see, when drugs are brought into the open and not hidden or info given about them from crackpot agncies like the DEA etc real awareness starts and a society gets smarter. |

It's also worth noting that there are more places for drug rehab and getting hold of these services in Portugal now as well. This likely helps- many people who are on drugs DON'T want to be on drugs, but simply can't get the help needed.

In Canada, marijuana use is pretty widely accepted.
My mother, upon finding out that I still smoke pot on occasion, freaked out, calling it a "gateway drug". I love it when people who have never smoked pot, try to say how dangerous it is. I firmly believe that marijuana is less harmful to both society and to yourself than alcohol is. I rarely drink, I much rather smoke some pot, hang out with some friends and not have to worry about some idiot getting all pissed off and trying to start ****. By the way, I really recommend a documentary on pot, it's called "The Union: The Business Of Getting High" |
