Ugh. Disgusting. A woman can't have a distinguished career (i.e. being a pilot) because she's supposed to be at home looking after her children? He makes all men look bad.

He only makes all men look bad if YOU feel all men think that way.

Also he makes Christians look bad though quoting scripture that he hasn't even read like some Christians do.

In that verse it talks about how hard working the woman is to juggle all these jobs while being a caregiver. It doesn't say what he thinks it does. He thinks it means she has to be restricted to being at home.

I was going to say the same thing about the bible verse. Maybe he's reading a different bible than everyone else, lol.

People are pigs. I can't believe there is still that mentality about women.

On another note, do you know that in the middle ages women used to run taverns? I find that quite cool.

Feminism is about women living up to their potential and proving that they are strong, powerful individuals. This does not mean that women are better than all men - it just means that a woman has what it takes to beat a man or to stand beside him.
Women were treated like rubbish by men in the past and it is our time now to show the world our greatness. A woman can be smart, silly, happy, lively, serious. A woman is like a man she is not inferior or superior. Feminism is simply this idea.

There's plenty of females that take pride in being mothers, being pretty, getting taken care of etc., and what the hell's wrong with that? Long as it makes them happy. Nobody should feel shamed for what they want in life.

On the other hand, no female should feel obligated to be this way, either. But no one's pointing a gun at anyone's head and making them do it.

What is with the sweeping generalizations by you and boo boo and butthead that are just completely, factually incorrect? Just because you know two whole feminists in real life that are way over-the-top with their beliefs doesn't mean the majority of feminists are that way, jesus christ people are so simple minded.

RadFems tend to be the most vocal.

My advice to anyone getting a tattoo is to just make sure you like it, and nothing more. Past that, there really isn't a point of a tattoo, because perceptions change. (Including your own, btw, so choose wisely). If you base it on what you think others will like, you're destined to be disappointed. And while the irony of it is that a tattoo is ultimately something meant for others' perceptions, much like the reason people choose their wardrobe, it kinda helps that the more important factor is that the individuals themselves are the primary factor involved with getting something permanently stamped on their body, rather than getting something more acceptable by some standard that's going to last just about as long as all the previous iterations of it since then.
That's the main reason why all of the tattoos I have gotten tell a story and mark a certain period of my life that I can re-tell if I wanted to. I'm so against getting any type of pop culture references tattoo'ed on me but people can get whatever they want. I just know me personally that I don't feel it has the same kind of effect to last a lifetime by getting something that I think is cool or in at any point of my life. I don't want to look at my tattoo later on and regret it.
