I think a more likely solution will be the ability to grow babies in incubators until they're full term. That is assuming they come up with a way to combine the genes of a same sex couple in an a sort of artificial meiosis. I'm not a scientist but I can't think of a reason why that is a fundamentally impossible idea.

This could work since we can already grow embryos in test tubes and Petri dishes. However I think something like this would work better with same sex couples who are both male, because then the sex of the child could go either way as it is the male who has both sex chromosomes in his DNA. If a lesbian couple wants a male child, well they will be out of luck unless a Y chromosome can be conjured out of nowhere. It could come from a sperm donor, but in that case the child won't be 100% biologically theirs.

Yea I thought about the chromosome thing too. I guess if worse came to worse they'd have to choose between a biological daughter or an adopted child.

No, and you shouldn't try. Labeling things always results in something being co-opted and reduced to the lowest common denominator (internally) in the search for compramise and unity.

Than its reduced to a caricature by the opposition. This is a logical issue, not a feminine issue.
