Any other anarchists on here?
Hey! I was just wondering if there were any other people on this forum who subscribe to anti-authoritarian ethics and politics. Some [hopefully respectful] debate is always entertaining and enriching.

For me, any debate regarding anarchy or other political systems fundamentally involves a debate over human nature. The notion of self-government strikes me as rather empty, the basic question is always: how do we deal with antagonistic people? How do we define antagonistic? It seems to me that as soon as you answer those two questions a structure begins to emerge, and as soon as there is a structure there have to be those responsible for maintaining and enforcing that structure.

Personally speaking, I wouldn't rape or kill anyone, but I guess you might rape or kill me.
Funny how animals don't have a system of government but they don't kill and rape each other and then die out. In fact, Bonobos just sit around and fuck and massage each other all day long. |
