I challenge the claim. Certainly if you love a person it wouldn't matter if they're missing a limb or two. The question wasn't so straight forward though, it said "would you enter a serious ...". So if you already loved her it wouldn't be a problem, but if you saw an amputee at a club whom you didn't already know you wouldn't necessarily strike up conversation with the intent of things going further. So you could date an amputee, that doesn't mean you would.

That'd be like dating a potato. I'm down for that.
If an amputee came up to you in a club, trying it on. Good people will say they'd give them a fair chance etc. But lets face it, most people wouldn't. People who date are put off by the most trivial things as it is. |

With out a doubt I'd date an amputee. Appearances are not terribly important to me either. I'm sure there is a point past which I would find I had no attraction to someone, but I have not yet found it. Part of how this works is that I do not feel attraction to a person until I find their personality appealing.
