It wouldn't matter to me.
I could date an amputee.
I don't see a problem with it. It might a little odd at first, but if you love that person, who cares.
Well good people aren't too common these days. Good for you.

I challenge the claim. Certainly if you love a person it wouldn't matter if they're missing a limb or two. The question wasn't so straight forward though, it said "would you enter a serious ...". So if you already loved her it wouldn't be a problem, but if you saw an amputee at a club whom you didn't already know you wouldn't necessarily strike up conversation with the intent of things going further. So you could date an amputee, that doesn't mean you would.

I would.

I would totally walk up to some amputee in a club and start a conversation with them, with the intent of things going further.
:P

That'd be like dating a potato. I'm down for that.

If an amputee came up to you in a club, trying it on. Good people will say they'd give them a fair chance etc.

But lets face it, most people wouldn't. People who date are put off by the most trivial things as it is.

I would date possibly date them if they were missing both arms and legs.

And as for the ugly part, probably, depends on how ugly, because even though they say looks don't matter, they do matter to a point.

There we go!!! It is highly unlikely you will ever be put in this situation though. The only problem I would have is if they don't tell you within the first couple of conversations. Even if it is hard to talk about (I'm guessing) they still have to tell you in order to avoid that awkward moment that will come up,

"You coming to bed?" "Yeah let me just take off my prosthetic leg."

With out a doubt I'd date an amputee. Appearances are not terribly important to me either. I'm sure there is a point past which I would find I had no attraction to someone, but I have not yet found it. Part of how this works is that I do not feel attraction to a person until I find their personality appealing.
