Yes. Plain and simple. If he is the man of my dreams then no lost limb will stand in my way of being with him. He needs to have a ding dong though.

Sure. One missing arm would be no big deal. But having neither arm or missing both legs, well that would be a problem for more than aesthetic reasons as a person like that would be much more dependent on me and I'm not a person you should be too dependent on.
If she can manage to do things on her own, and she's a wonderful girl and it would be an otherwise great relationship, then yes. |

If he's able to joke about it, I got not problem.
As long as I won't feel awkward, or the person won't make me feel awkward, every time the subject pops up.

Well I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I could be completely happy in a relationship with an amputee, provided that she can joke about it. And let's face it, on a Friday night, we'd both be completely legless.

It also forces people to think deeply on the situation. I mean I think all of us would have sex with an amputee, because sex is easy. There's no commitment to it, the only time the disadvantages would come up is when you're balls deep and at that point, who cares? And even after that, sex is sex, most girls aren't that slow to think that the guy they just met at the bar actually cares about them, so it's easy to shrug off responsibility after the act has been committed.
Myself, I don't think I could ever enter a serious relationship with an amputee because I spent my entire childhood having to look after my disabled step mom. She was very dependent on my dad and I and I suppose I sort of came to resent her (mostly cause she's a biitch). I guess in some kind of defense I set out to become incredibly independent, which has kind of wormed its way into my criteria for what I want from a partner. Someone who realizes the financial benefits of living with someone, as well as the pleasure benefits of not having to go out looking for a fuck when they are horny. At the same time, isn't completely dependent on me and wants to spend every waking moment with me. I understand that it's a pretty unreasonable request for a partner, but that's just how I feel. |
