Umm, well for the first part of your prior past, I think man is a generalized term for man and woman..so that point is kind of moot right? Not that good of an example..

That's completely different, you wouldn't expect the semantics to be lie with mankind as you would with mankind.

"Man" or "mankind" are popularly generalized terms for encompassing both sexes

No, it makes the distinction

It could say, woman shall not lie with womankind as she does with mankind etc etc it is an abomination, but there's nothing about that
