It's not as sexy when they're only doing it as some sort of obligation for a political movement.
But they are still paying attention to their hair, and it takes work to mantain a blad head. I've only seen one maybe two "bald chicks," well one of them does it for a mullet, believe it or not, she shave her head half bald then it looks like a crew cut then eventually your full fledge Billy Ray Cyrus mullet. I'm not into bald chicks.

Personally I think women with blue hair trumps bald haired women.

But by shaving their head to show that they don't give a **** about their hair as a status symbol is very political.

But you're right, it's not an obligation for a political movement as such.

That reminds me, I haven't played some Sonic the Hedgehog in a while.

Sonic 4 looks pretty sweet.

media how? Do books count? Media = medium = conduit = no personal characteristics.

I don't know if we can blame the media. That's like blaming roadways and tunnels for car accidents.

"To all the rebels, I hate being the one to tell you but you're a non-conformist conforming to non-conformity"

On another note, the media controls everything, what you think, how you feel. Their word choice and the way they represent a certain group of people or single person can change your opinion about them entirely. Their ability to manipulate statistics to make you feel how they want you to feel. Talking mainly about news here (papers, tv news etc). Even if you don't want to admit it, they do control the vast majority of the population (of the world).

I meant mainstream media, television, magazines, fashion, advertizing, consumer culture.

Obviously these things have some serious faults and negative influences that are worth discussion. But I'm tired of people thinking they're the cause of all the world's problems.

I wouldn't say they are the "cause" of all the worlds problems. But they certainly caused a few and influenced/pushed people towards a lot of other problems.

The real cause is our society being so ****ing stupid that we believe everything we hear/see/read in the news etc because for some reason we have this retarded belief that they can't lie.

Which part would you like me to back up? I thought it was common knowledge in this day and age that the media(news in particular) manipulates statistics and singles out certain groups/individuals presenting them in the worst possible way, demonizing them and brain washing our society into thinking however they want us to. They choose what to report on based on what they think will sell and what they want us to believe.

Who is they? Who makes us think which way? And why do they want us to think like that?
