I've always thought it would be cool to go to a supposedly haunted place and just be able to hang out there for awhile. For example, Eastern State Penitentiary. They give routine historic tours, but then for Halloween they decide to ruin the atmosphere by turning it all into a run of the mill "haunted house" with actors and lights. A local candle shop has rumors, but it's the same story. You can go in during the day and shop, but then at Halloween they open up their haunted house. That was easily the worst experience of my life. We went late, and so the actors left and the guy that walked us around clearly just wanted to call it a day and go home. Sooo eerie. "Over there in that corner is a statue of Jason from the Friday the 13th movies. Right here is our undead caretaker. Over there are some bodies."
