I think Bertrand Russell summed up my current opinion best, long before I was born.

I'm an atheist leaning agnostic it's really not something I put a whole lot of thought into. I do however believe in my fellow humans, that doesn't mean I just ignore the bad aspects of humanity, to bring about our own answers. I just believe in ourselves to be able to bring good to the world.

Religion is a brain virus.Spirituality and a connection with the almighty are to vastly different things.Man can poision religion and make it so far from its roots that no one can recognize it anymore.Spirituality no one can poision save for yourself

I'm fine with that, Roxy, even though I don't personally agree with it but it's a personal choice, either way. I'm sure you understand that I'm not talking about spirituality, I oppose dogmatic creationism, it's very important to me. In fact I'm not talking about anyone on MB, I choose to voice my opposition to Creationism, in all forms but especially Young Earth Creationism, which claims that the earth is about 6000 years old. This is important to me. Last edited by Paul Smeenus; 02-20-2016 at 09:51 PM. |
