Boo might wanna explain himself to you guys later on, but to give a quick summary, he got upset after arguing in this thread and banned a number of people who were or weren't participants in the discussion going on here. Needless to say, he was acting on behalf of himself and not the moderators team. We're currently working out the details and I believe those who were banned are now unbanned.

To those who found themselves banned and feel offended, I think I can talk on behalf of the mod team when I say we're sorry about what happened. Please have some patience with us while we work this one out.

If you find anyone banned who you think shouldn't be banned, please send a mod a PM. Of course we'll also take your complaints.

Crivens! I'm completely missing the part where Lateralus did anything even vaguely deserving of that outburst, facetious or not. Who did get the banhammer then? I'm guessing Ethe and Schizo but other than that I don't think people were going too far out their way to goad.

Glad to see that Dano wasn't a mistake ban.

Besides posting exactly what everyone knew she was going to, nothing. Actually, everyone who got banned did nothing. Sleepy Jack was the only one to make anything close to a personal attack, really. But thatd not to say it warranted a ban.

On another note, this topic has to be the most controversial in a long time. We all have our views and to be honest, I think it's safe to say that no matter how much you argue, or try and prove your point. Women will never feel like they're treated "fairly" enough. They will always want more, and will most likely get more. Until the world is overrun by a swarm of Oprah Winfrey's and Hillary Clinton's. This is a war that cannot be won.

I was also, in a roundabout way, calling for an end to some of this hostility thats been introduced into the arguement.

I just got really angry at people for personally attacking me based on assumptions about me that are entirely false. And the more I tried to defend myself, the more personal insults I got.

And yeah, I pretty much lost my cool and started banning everyone that participated in this thread.

Obviously it would be retarded to try and continue modding after pulling something like that, so I'm stepping down from being a mod.

Besides last night, I've always thought you were a good mod. Sucks you're stepping down. Probably get another euro mod now.
