^ There's a difference between denying that something happened versus denying WHY it supposedly happened.
I really don't think I need to explain it further than that. This whole topic of discussion is based on "did", not "why". The thing is, just pleading the 5th about something is basically saying you have no opinion toward it. If that's the case, I don't see the point of even commenting in a debate about the matter.
