Wow, someone's got it figured out. All those craters should indicate that our moon's taken some serious beatings over time, but this NASA bomb was just too much for our poor moon.

Anyways, there might be some pictures of that spray popping up on the net these days. Anyone found anything?

No, and i still think it could have been a cover up. There is no proof that anything impacted the moon. Kind of fishy that there was all this talk from NASA saying there would be a visible plume on impact, yet there wasn't one at all.

Wow, you sure know how to jump to conclusions.

Yeah, I just read that the landing was a bit softer than predicted and the plume wasn't as impressive. There were still lots of observations of this thing hitting the moon.

Quote:
The observatories that were able to image the event ranged from Arizona and New Mexico (Apache Point, Magdalena Ridge, and the Vatican Observatory), through California's Mount Wilson and Palomar sites, and included a lot of the best hardware in Hawaii, such as the Keck, Gemini, and Subaru telescopes. Watching from space were the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, which was launched with LCROSS, and the newly refurbished Hubble Space Telescope. A few private satellites that normally do Earth imaging, IKONOS and GeoEye-1, were also redirected to the Moon for the event.

Why is everything government cover ups and conspiracies with you?

Why in the hell would NASA say "we're gonna bomb the f*cking moon" and not actually do it?

Seriously, where is the long term gain in that? I don't get it.

lol, if you only knew how much **** went on behind the scenes. They cover up soooooooooooo much stuff, both Nasa and the government. Any person who has done their research knows they are lying their asses off.

I still haven't seen any proof of impact. No pictures or anything. Until i see it, i don't believe anything they say.

where's the long term gain in actually doing it? NASA really isn't an organization that's known for practicality or even relevence in terms of economic or socio-political impact.

Weren't NASA the guys that told us an asteroid might hit earth in 2036?

If that's true then why wouldn't the goverment make them cover it up, they would have a good reason I'd think.

NASA comes up with even more ridiculous, possible end of the world scenarios than, well... YOU. If I was the head of government who wanted to prevent mass panic I would tell them to cut that sh*t out.

Well, why would they claim they're gonna do it anyway then?

If they want to improve on their public image, why not lie about doing something more meaningful, like a manned mission to Mars or something?

Why say you're gonna do something as retarded as bombing the goddamn moon and not do it? What kind of retarded conspiracy is that?

Exactly how is bombing the moon good publicity for NASA anyway? Please explain that one for me.

There was a picture in the article I posted .. but it could be fake of course.

(It also said numerous observatories had gotten pictures of the impact and NASA have been promoting public events to watch it happening.)

Seriously man, with all the conspiracy stuff you keep going on about, you sound like a paranoid schizophrenic. Where are you getting this stuff from? Do you come up with it yourself or are you getting it from someone else?
