South Carolina governor Mark Sanford who went missing admits affair - Telegraph

How he was ever elected Governor is well beyond my understanding. Failure at this level should have seen him beaten by every other candidate in the field.

I loved how over the past couple of days every time I visited cnn.com the story about this situation changed in some new an hilarious way. Basically, these are the stories I read, in order:

1. South Carolina governor is nowhere to be found.
   
2. No worries, he was just on an impromptu hiking trip on the Appalachian Trail.
   
3. Actually he was in Argentina.
   
4. Oh, incidentally, he was cheating on his wife with an Argentine woman.

Your country is run by a bunch of horney imbeciles.

I still can't get over the fact that Arnold Schwarzenegger ever got elected governor... I long ago lost the ability to care about America beyond a comedic aspect.
