I wonder what that says about us.
I guess we don't really care about the people involved so much as some kind of policy, which, btw.. I'm pretty sure there wasn't an SOP stating "Soldiers must sodomize and humiliate prisoners with penises and other stuff".
There are fucking horrible people in the US military, just like any other place or organization, and in any country you choose.
The shit that went down over there had nothing to do with policy. It had everything to do with LACK of policy and oversight into the treatment of prisoners. Information inquisition has nothing to do with it, obviously.

God, this is terrible. I agree with Verdical though, I don't think a change in policy will stop this.
