Anyway, on the topic of the OP I think like all religions is has its share crazy and/or silly crap about it. That said, one of the things I like about it, or at least it as it's practiced by most of the jews I know, is that it seems to focus more on dealing with life in the here and now as opposed to having a huge amount of focus on the afterlife. As a result I think it's practitioners generally seem to take a problem-solving approach to things instead of some absolutist pie-in-sky stuff that has no application in the real world.

Anyway, I had a Jewish friend who made a lot of antisemitic jokes which rubbed off on me. But I don't mind the Jews whatsoever. Holocaust is bad, of course, I thought we would've learned from then that you can't let genocide happened, but even though we say we won't- well now I'm getting preachy.

I'm not Jewish but I totally dig Hamantaschen, they're way better then Moon Pies, better than any pastry you can think of, even better then Entenmann's as a matter of fact.
