Maybe it bugs me since i am getting over a cold right now and I live in TX lol... Not a good combo for an anxious person, but what do you do...

Haha. Yeah, you just have to worry about those superbugs. Look 'em up... ex: MSRA. Basically, at some point some previously treatable disease could morph into an antibiotic-resistant form. The bubonic plague, part 2... the greatest comeback since Jesus.

Eh, sure some disease will inevitably become resistant to any contemporary form of treatment but we'll come up with a cure very, very fast. This strain of the virus isn't even very deadly compared to past pandemics, it has a less than 2% mortality rate, which is probably inflated because of the mass hysteria surrounding it. The one thing I'd worry about is there being a second wave developed in another animal.

i don't think it will be bad. If it were going to be an immediate threat it would be all over the news. They always pull this crap and nothing happens. Plus, everyone who has gotten it in the US has recovered.

Well killing a hundred people is going a bit too far for just a hoax don't you think?

going to Mexico next Friday, hopefully it's all hype and my plans don't get cancelled :(

No really, 100 are reported dead already, they're still trying to contain it. So I'd wait a little while if I were you.

MURDER JUNKIE 04-27-2009 09:05 AM

Already booked, bought, and paid for.

Besides I REALLY need some Ocean and Tequila

Holy sh*t, there's already a confirmed case in Ohio. AND New York and Canada.

The terror alert in my pants is now at code brown.
