I can sort of understand where she's coming from.

When I was living up in the arctic, there's of course reindeer hunting and so everyone who wanted to learn how to slaughter a reindeer could come see and learn how to do it. There were lots of kids and they were rather curious about it too, of course most grown ups already know how to do it so it was part meant for children.

However, Rudolf was already dead before they started. It was popular, but I don't think it would've been if they had to kill the reindeer first.

To be honest I don't think there's anything seriously wrong with what she did. Unless she didn't give the kids a little warning first.

I mean she's teaching an important lession, these are kids who want to learn how to be chefs, and if you want to be a serious chef you're gonna have to learn how to kill your food, or at least where it comes from.

Marco Pierre White is the daddy when it comes to badass chefs.

This is a guy who made Gordon Ramsey blub like a baby.

Did you ever get to see The Chopping Block?

Urban Hat€monger ? 04-03-2009 06:07 PM

I've not seen that. But Marco recently did a show called Great British meals or something where he basically just went around with a cigarette in his mouth shooting things

Marco's Great British Feast it was called. As far as I know it was only aired in the UK.

I love this comment of his about one of his marriages

White then met 21-year-old model Lisa Butcher outside Tramp nightclub in Jermyn Street, London. They were engaged within three weeks—White says today that he was so intoxicated by her looks that he forgot to think about her personality

From the kids reactions it seems like they were just in it for the attention. If not then I agree, why the fuck would you be a chef if you cant handle that.

Yeah, I think that was the whole point.

Either way, pretty hardcore, I don't think food network is gonna want to hire this women anytime soon.

Anthony Bourdain is a pretty cool guy, I love his show on the travel network.
