The possibility of life on other planets.. Aliens...
I was watching a show the other night and they had some interesting footage from the space shuttle and space station. The footage was of objects that appeared to be under intelligent control. Then they showed the mother of all ufo footage (my opinion), The NASA STS-75 teather incident. Post up and check out that footage.

I am a firm believer in the existence of extraterrestrials however I do believe that many of the sightings are either hoaxes, mis-identifications, and other phenomena that can be explained by science.

I'm generally a believer in extraterrestrial life, I can't see why our planet should be so unique as being the only one in the universe that has life on it. Yet, I don't believe in intelligent beings visiting planet earth, spending their time making nice patterns in corn fields or whatnot.

I do believe there is life on other planets, but not to the extent of aliens or an sort of crazy, freaking looking beings, or anything that somewhat resembles a human. I believe that there are organisms up there. As far as UFOs or anything like that, I think thats the biggest scam around.

I think if there is life on other planets, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it looks somewhat like life on planet earth. Evolution singles out the traits that work and so many things pop up in seperate evolutionary lines. Lungs and eyes are examples of organs that have evolved several times on earth, so it's a reasonable guess that they might evolve on other planets as well.
Extrapolate that to go for other organs and adaptations as well and there you go. Perhaps if life has made it under conditions that are drastically different from here, life will look and behave different, but on an earthlike planet, my bet is it won't. edit : to Yukon, I didn't check it out because you never posted a youtube vid or a link ..
