i agree with a lot of what ixtlan is saying.
to me, facts are in a constant state of flux. they are always changing. everybody knows that. and WHY are they changing? that's just the revelatory nature of information. it's a path, and there are always many many wrongs before we find the right... and some of the time, those rights are still wrong, and we're all just apprehensively waiting for time to follow through and show us what arrogant weaklings we are. we don't have this stuff figured out. and on that note, who in on this forum has the authority to say that distant celestial bodies have no bearing on the patterns of men? i really doubt anyone does. like think about the moon and its spinnings around the earth. it's smaller than the earth even, but still manages to pull with is ALL THE WATER IN THE OCEANS. aside from the fact that this is really neat, it's also proof of the power of celestial bodies. now, bring up the DISTANT ones. they are part of a spinning system too. and all that spinning plus all that weight (or mass) is POWER. much like ixtlan, i put no stock in the claims of failed writers who come up with this garbage that people read everyday... because those people aren't scientists. they just need to eat in a scarcity-driven world. can't blame them for that. but i think it would be to the effect of our own discord with the universe (which is responsible for giving us life) if we were to just ignore the possibility that the one thing that is bigger than we can imagine is incapable of influencing us. it's just ignorant! and you can call that negative or whatever you'd like, but it sounds to me like the only people who have any idea what they're talking about on this thread are the ones that claim to not know much. |

I got a friend that is way to far into this crap.... dude does tarot card readings for his friends outside of our normal friends. At One point he thought he could read minds of people and see into their souls that was his special ability or something. Besides that hes cool but retarded.
I find it fun.... but nothing more. |

it's not silly we just have astrology as key's to who we truly are and the fact is it helps us to know that we have our good sides and our bad sides so we know how we can be capable on our lives the more you study the actual astrology the better chances on how lucky you are to be born with abilities you didn't think you had.
