I'm a Capricorn. Is it typical for us to think this is all a load of bollocks?

One really interesting note is that since the stars shift over time and we're much closer to the age of Aquarius than that of Picies (the current sign), everyone is really supposed to be more like the sign that precedes theirs than the one that is being determined by an age that began around 2000 years ago. I don't have any definite beliefs or qualms about Astrology. I think its been pretty bastardized and I believe that there's a lot of shit that's used the idea lazily and without much knowledge of it. But I think if it were pursued more as a science it could yield some interesting results.
Looking at the bigger whole to determine things about the microcosm makes a lot of sense to me. Its very obvious that revolving around the sun yields seasons. If external factors have that much affect on our climate and vegetation, who are we to exclude our own temperament and actions from them? There was a time when Astronomy and Astrology were not separate. I think the whole study needs a new, fresh, more scientific approach and should be studied a lot more than it is being studied today.

Well like I said, I think, logically it makes sense to look at the activity of the larger perceivable whole as a possible influence on the activity of the smaller microcosm.

I agree that harmful radiation could cause cancer or we might get hit by an asteroid sometime in the future, but distant stars having a specific effect on what kind of personalities we have and what our average every-day futures are gonna be like? Nah .. I bet those stars don't even know what people and predictions are.
