Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu
Has anyone read this? I've read it in excerpts and also analyzed a few passages and I find his views on life (which seem to mimic the ideals of libertarianism) are extremely wise, hold lots of truth, and would be beneficial to humanity if they were practiced today. I don't know very much about Tao-ism, but I find his straight forward and simple explanations about acceptance and "The Way" to be insightful and powerful. I bought this today at Barnes and Noble looking for another book and I plan on reading it during my next 4 days in DC (Model UN trip, yay! Ironic too, for he believes a government that governs least governs best.) And I was wondering if anyone else has read excerpts, heard of Lao Tzu or the Tao Te Ching, or even knows a think or two about tao-ism.

Huuuge fan of this book. I also love The I Ching, its predecessor. They are both pretty amazing. Do you have a favorite passage?
