I like the cops in my town, half of them are volunteers and they all are doing what they enjoy. Only a handful make it their primary job.

Maybe teachers should make more money, but they only work 3/4ths of a year. Giving a lot money to teachers is hard because schools need to spend money on so many other things too.

Why does having a high school diploma or a college degree automatically mean you should make more than someone who doesn't?

#1 because its not a mom and pop world anymore.
#2 I feel that you should have something to back complaints of underpayment since everyone has the option to go to college.
#3 You could have been a drop out and still get a higher education.
#4 It is your choice and i think that if you look at salaries that college grads get on average vs that of diploma only you would probably understand that its obvious.

I mean honestly there more educated period. Thats why.

If you know that ice cream tastes good then you will eat. If you know that college grads make more money!! You decide its not worth it?? What the hell?

No matter how you cut that cake it is what it is.

How would you feel if the president was not college educated? Im not college educated, well i dont have a degree .. however remember that It takes a college degree to be a teacher and it doesnt to be a line worker at one of the big three and the benifits and pay are far better for them than that of a teachers.

Not all jobs require a degree but 9 times out of ten if you are educated in a particular field and you apply for a job against someone who is not you will probably get that job.

On top of that if people who complain about not making as much as a college grad have the same option if only they would get off thier azzes. Go cry to someone else.

None of those are legitimate reasons, they are just ideals, not what is feasible in the real world. Since auto industries (used to) make a lot of money, the people that worked there could strike and the companies would just pay to avoid the strikes. If you work where the money is being made - you will be making a lot of money because the business is succeeding. Worldwide, schools are always pressed for cash, so they cannot afford to pay a teacher 100k a year, even if they got a college degree.
