Statistically you have a better chance at getting a high paying job if you are a college grad, but you shouldn't slam the workers at Ford (or wherever it is) just because they aren't 'properly' educated. You can't tell the workers at those car companies that they shouldn't be making 70$/hr, there is no way to justify it.

When they took our ****ing money (tax payers), I sure as hell would like my voice to be heard on how it gets spent...and it is justified when other car manufactures operate with a $45/hr rate.

really? i was thinking about checking it out, but also somewhat disinterested. i like the idea of getting a better window into the life of my president, but the books contents sparked little enthusiasm from myself.

I don't support the bailout either, but just because they didn't go to college doesn't mean they can't make 45 an hour. The auto companies should have crashed and burned.

The racism and his family factor is actually quite intriguing. Or, the first five chapters have been. I'll read the rest and tell you about it. Each chapter has its own theme, though, and tells a story of a certain part of his life. He's a good writer, and I didn't realize how... I think the word would be gritty, he could get.
