FoxNews is reminding me more and more of UBS from Network everyday.

Especially now that they have Glenn Beck, he's just a few meltdowns away from being Howard Beale.

No - but it doesn't affect his political ideology or policies so it's an non-issue.

o cmon, if bush said it you would have **** your pants backwards. im not suggesting that he be sent to the chopping block because of a single mindless remark, but dont pretend like it didnt happen and that it wasnt a mistake. did all of bush's terrible speech impetiments have an affect on his policitical ideology or policies? no, but they were equally embarrasing and it does matter because as long as you are the commander in chief, your representing the american people. when your the president of the united states you are held accountable for what you say, regardless of whether humor was involved. would it be ok for joe biden told a racist joke if he did it in humorous tone? should nobody react?

I'll be agreeing with you, its obvious that its easy to excuse one who you favor. Which is one of the reasons our economy sucks so bad right now. Good work.

Ugh. I don't understand why you keep insisting I'm some sort of hyperpartisan liberal. You're actually trying to attack be based on how you think I would hypothetically respond to a hypothetical situation. You don't think that's a bit stupid and baseless?

How about just over 100 days and out with a joke in the middle of an economic crysis, where tons of ppl are losing their jobs and companies are going under. I think its just the way you feel and you are entitled to your opinions. Not everyone will have the same opinion as you Sleepy Jack.

I look at it completely different. The fact he made a stupid joke during the economic crisis isn't something that I care about what I care about is the fact were going through an economic crisis and people are getting angry and upset over a stupid joke.

As far as I'm concerned, he's human. I don't agree with how he said the comment but I don't believe he meant it in such an offensive context as many people believe. Get over it. He apologised. At least he can speak coherent sentences unlike George Bush.

Ok, He is the president of the United States, with that he has a bunch of people watching him all the time... I feel that though the comment may not effect me in anyway, other ppl dont feel the same.

BTW he was incinuating that his bowling was poor, using the special olympics as being poor, not any good, ect... This would impact you more if you or someone you know was disabled and it was the only thing that they dreamed about.

Prehaps I would if I could relate more to what he said, but still, this situation was far blown out of proportion than it needed to be. The fact that he APOLOGISED a few moments later to the special olympics representatives shows that it was a slip of the tongue which could happen to anyone who has a huge pressure on them all the time. And by pressure I mean the whole world is looking up to him.

Do you think he worked as hard as he did to become president to then start mouthing off geniunely about people? No, he didn't, he's a good person and people make mistakes.

I'd like to see how many of those who are so upset by all of this have never spoke negatively about someone less fortunate/different from them, before.
