I'll agree that the speech was so-so... but the event itself was a sight for sore eyes. All these people in this one place to see this day in history go down. I dunno, just struck my heartstring for some reason. I went into school this morning and saw a lot of happy black people, a lot of happy people in general... People were excited, and filled with, dare I say hope. It made me smile.

I hope people take a realistic view about this. Seriously people, he's not Jesus. Even still, I can't help but feel a little optimistic myself. Barring an overthrow of the Roman Empire I think he'll do a fantastic job.
