I'm just happy I've got an excuse for not getting anyone any Christmas presents.

I hate it too normally, but at least Christmas shopping rarely involves clothes shopping, which is far and away the worst kind. Plus you can always pick out the wrong sized article of clothing and make them take it back to get refitted
