It's not like we've never had them before.

Besides, while our atmosphere is crumbling, for the time being we still have one, and yeah, it might not protect the satelites, but dammit it's not gonna knock out every grid in America, that's just f*cking retarded, a lot of our grids were already built to be shielded by these kinda things. I can't see this turning into a serious problem.

I don't think they took into consideration how power grids actually work, I'm pretty sure that if all our satelites stopped working, every power grid in America wouldn't just shut down. They need to stop watching all these James Bond movies.

Also, I think they're now saying this is not supposed to happen until 2013.

Our inevitable doom has been pushed forward another year, yet again.
