Its not a big deal yet. Dont you think if it was real we would have put all of our resources in to save our azzes. You say "But Mr. Yukon there is nothing we can do" maybe not but i bet that would be doing a whole hell of a lot more if it was a serious problem. Like i said The Mayans were just more intrigued with space, stars, ect than alot of other civilizations but they were not aliens. They did some weird crap to you should really look at it. Im not going out to buy a fallout shelter, you can if you would like. Either way i do believe in life on other planets.

This could be valid because the Mayans were great at astronomy?
What kind of bullsh*t is that? And since when does astrology give you valid scientific evidence that the world is gonna end on a certain date? That's absolute bullcrap. I'm not calling the Mayans stupid, but for gods sake, they couldn't even predict the collapse of their own civilization, not to mention human sacrifices and the belief that sinkholes were portals to hell. Not exactly what I'd call a valid scientific source. |

I don't understand how people can possibly think that the Mayans, with all their ignorance and classic Mesoamerican devices, knew more about astronomical events than modern science does. The Mayans thought gods dictated celestial actions...that's knowing a "scary amount?"
