My favorite argument is the we must protect the sanctity and tradition of marriage argument. Because in the bible they talk about marrying your mothers and marrying multiple wives, lets bring it back and then still continue to say gay marriage is untraditional and will ruin the children.

I don't see why the gays are so dead set on getting married... the divorce rate is up to like 45% here in America lol and it's still climbing. Not a good track record if you ask me. But yeah, people need to chill the hell out, more chicks for me I say.

I don't think it's the demand to get married, just to be treated the same by the government. The problem with this vote is that it suggests 52% of Californians do not view ***s as equal in terms on being a human being to put it poorly. That sucks. And yes more chicks for you dac, many more.

I bet you the gay divorce rate (if it became a nation wide thing) would be much lower than the straight one. Their argument is just as much for civil and legal right as it is for love whereas straight couples get married all the time for money and convenience.

Back to the subject we should really start taxing churches or maybe just the Californian Mormons. They pumped millions of dollars into their propaganda that was probably largely the reason people voted to ban gay marriage. Their arguments were things like "Oh they're going to teach it in schools" which is absurd because the marriage has nothing to do with education in fact marriage in general doesn't. Do you remember being taught heterosexuality in school? The combination of politics and religion is dangerous, the fact guys like Hagee have had influence in the white house for dozens of years when they were nothing more than preachers with a large following of idiots shouldn't be tolerated. It's looking like his son is going to be of influence in the republican party too in the future and he's not much better. He pretty much went Bush Jr's route when it comes to what he does; dumber and more ignorantly passionate than his father.

Actually, yes to some extent I do remember heterosexuality being taught in school. During sex ed I was taught about the reproductive cycle and how males are compatible with females. However, nowhere was it implied that men are compatible with men.

I don't think any homosexuals would deny pregnancy can't happen between two males.

It's not as possible as a nuclear holocaust, it's even less possible. The world is overpopulated; if a billion people became homosexual it would be a good thing.

It would save us the trouble of castration en-masse at-least, since overpopulation is definitely a problem at the moment (coupled with the lack of water sanitation and food shortages in many places).

If we had a billion gays the world would be a much cleaner place, except sexually, it would be much filthier.

I have a feeling that the sexual promiscuity would decline if homosexuality was as socially accepted as heterosexuality is.
